About Adam:

Adam Maness is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Maness has performed around the globe with award winning artists from a plethora of musical genres. Shortly after beginning his studies in jazz piano as a young man, he began performing around St. Louis with some of the areas most sought-after jazz musicians. In 2001, Maness moved to New York City to attend the acclaimed Jazz and Contemporary Music program at The New School University, and was soon deeply immersed in the city's jazz scene. In 2003, he moved home to St. Louis to begin playing piano, guitar, and writing songs with internationally renowned vocalist, Erin Bode. In 2011, he helped found the acclaimed, genre-bending quartet, The 442s. His songs and compositions have been featured on several national and international recordings, television shows, and films. In 2015 his piece, The Divides That Bind, commissioned by soul singer Brian Owens, was performed by the grammy award winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra for the orchestra's annual Black History Month performance. Adam Maness resides in St. Louis with his wife and two children.
