Not So Classical is a hybrid film-concert experience that redefines the classical concert format. A series of short pieces performed by a small ensemble are interlaced with narrative driven video vignettes, graphics, and animations. The result is a fast paced, multi-media concert experience that tells a compelling story. It's 90 minute run time and contemporary structure is aimed at a younger audience. Not So Classical was created by award winning filmmaker and Wash U alum David Donnelly. It stars renowned violinist Tatiana Berman and Grammy nominated saxophonist Amy Dickson.
