Department of Music Student Ensemble Auditions and Placement Days

Placement Days provide new students with an opportunity to meet our faculty and learn more about the applied music program at WUSTL.  During your brief appointment, we will hear you play/sing (or conduct an interview with beginners) and provide you with information about lessons, including course credit, juries, attendance requirements, and fees.  Afterwards, you will be assigned an instructor and an official course number.

Besides lesson placement, Placement Days also give our student a chance to audition for one of our many ensembles.  Most groups hold auditions each semester.
