Biography
Yihan Li began playing piano at age five and has studied under Carol Cook and Yifan Liu. She is currently under the instruction of Annette Burkhart, Teacher of Applied Music here at Washington University. She was awarded the Friends of Music Award by the university’s Department of Music in 2016 and the Antoinette Dames Award in 2017. She was one of the winners of the 2016 Friends of Music Concerto Competition and has performed with the Washington University Symphony Orchestra. Outside of music, Yihan enjoys participating in many other extracurricular activities, such as organizing the Washington University Chemistry Tournament and being a mentor for the China Care Club.

Yihan is planning to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Music. Post-graduation, she will be attending pharmacy school with her dog Daisy by her side.
