The Arts & Sciences Connections Series proudly presents an exclusive event featuring the new chair of the Department of Music, Todd Decker, and his wife, Kelly Daniel-Decker, performing a concert of cabaret and theater songs by Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, Francis Poulenc, Noël Coward, and George Gershwin.

TODD AND KELLY DECKER have been performing together for over 25 years, sharing music from Bach to Berlin, Mozart to Gershwin, and Richard Strauss to Stephen Sondheim. They regularly do cabaret shows throughout the St. Louis area. Kelly (soprano) holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, has sung many roles in operas and musicals, and is a member of the St. Louis Chamber Chorus. Todd (piano) is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Music at Washington University. His third book, Who Should Sing ‘Ol’ Man River’?: The Lives of an American Song, was published by Oxford University Press in 2014.
