Throughout the semester, enjoy free live performances by noted local and regional jazz artists at Holmes Lounge in Ridgley Hall on the Danforth campus.  Parking can be accessed at the Danforth University Center (DUC) parking garage.

Biography:
Jeffrey Anderson is a versatile musician skilled in saxophone, acoustic bass, and piano. Born in Lawrence, Kansas, and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, he has built a distinguished career as a performer, educator, and composer. Jeffrey holds a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Southern Illinois at Edwardsville (1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Morris Brown College (1982). His teaching experience includes roles at Washington University, the University of Missouri, and various summer programs. He has contributed to numerous theater productions, including those with the Black Repertory Theater Company. Jeffrey has performed at prestigious jazz festivals and with renowned artists like Lou Donaldson, John Hicks, Johnny O’Neal, Phil Woods, and many more. He is also co-owner of NU Millennium Studios and High-Resolution Records in St. Louis. Jeffrey has been happily married to his wife, Edie, for over 20 years.
