Biography

Jennifer Psujek received her M. M. in musicology from Bowling Green State University (2010) and her B. M. from The Boston Conservatory (2008) in cello performance. Her M. M. thesis was entitled The Intersection of Gender, Religion, and Culture in Nineteenth-Century Germanic Salons, and illustrates her interest in Germanic music of the middle and late nineteenth century, women in music, and culture studies. She is also interested in film music, especially the use of preexisting music in film. In addition to her musicological interests, she continues to play and teach the cello.
