The Calyx Trio was awarded its second Classical Commissioning Grant from Chamber Music America. They will premiere James Lee III's Piano Trio No. 3, "Tones of Clay," a significant new work for the trio at the Linde Center Tanglewood Music Festival on November 14, 2021. WashU faculty member Nina Ferrigno is the pianist for this ensemble and we congratulate her and the other members of the Calyx Trio on this great accomplishment!
