Small Chamber Ensembles
The Chamber Ensembles at Washington University, (trios, quartets, and quintets) play a concert at the end of each semester. The groups are assembled and coached by Amy Greenhalgh. The primary focus of the course is to study and play works from the heart of the string quartet repertoire, works of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms. Though the groups are mainly string quartets, there is also the option of string quintets, sextets, and piano trios.
