    Tricia teaches French Horn for the Department of Music

    Tricia Jöstlein lives a full and varied musical life in St. Louis with her husband, Thomas, and their sons Klaus (violin) and Max (cello).  Before moving to St. Louis, she held the position of Principal Horn with the Omaha Symphony and Des Moines Metro Opera.  She has also held positions with the Richmond Symphony, Honolulu Symphony, and the Britt Festival Orchestra.  

    Ms. Jöstlein frequently performs as an extra musician with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.  She also performs with Chamber Project St. Louis, St. Louis Chamber Music Society, The Heartland Festival Orchestra, St. Louis Winter Opera, and Classical Tahoe.  

    Ms. Jöstlein is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music.  Her teachers include William VerMeulen, Bryan Kennedy, and Roger Rocco.
