Nadia teaches oboe.
Nadia Para is an oboist based in St. Louis, Missouri. She has performed with the San Angelo Ballet, Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra, the Red Nightfall Dance Company, Prague Summer Nights Festival, Round Top Music Festival, and the National Repertory Orchestra. With the National Repertory Orchestra, Nadia performed as a soloist in Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante in B-flat Major. Nadia has performed alongside members of Splinter Reeds, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Detroit Symphony during their chamber music series. Additionally, some of her performances were broadcast on both “Performance Today” and the KMFA Radio Station.
A passionate teacher, Nadia teaches private lessons in the Saint Louis area. She is a K-12 certified music teacher and previously served as President of the University of Michigan’s National Association for Music Educators chapter.
Nadia holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin (MM) and the University of Michigan (BM). Prominent teachers include both Andrew Parker and Nancy King. Outside of music, Nadia enjoys hiking and spending time with her fiancé, Blaine, and their dog, Teddy.
