Practice room and lesson studio use is limited to students enrolled in music classes.
Hands must be washed before and after practice & lesson room usage.
Only one person in a practice room at a time, no visitors are allowed.
No food or drink in any practice rooms or lesson studios.
All touched surfaces must be wiped upon entry of the room. Follow the posted protocols for instrument care and disinfecting.
Mandatory air scrubbing breaks between sessions of 60 minutes.
All condensation/saliva must be disposed of – absorbent, disposable towels will be provided
Students must use Reserve-a-space (reserve.wustl.edu) for all practice room scheduling. Reserve-a-space will automatically populate appropriate air scrubbing breaks between occupants.
Do not enter a room until your reservation time.
When your scheduled time is over please remove all belongings and vacate the room immediately.
In addition, all reservations for any Department of Music space (Tietjens or the 560 Music Center), including practice modules, must be submitted 24-hours in advance and must be confirmed by staff. Walk-in reservations or last minute practice room bookings will not be allowed. If you do not receive an email confirmation from staff, you may not use the room. Weekend reservations must be submitted by 3:00pm the Friday before the requested time.
Lesson studio reservations must be submitted by 4:00pm M-F for the following day. Practice rooms should be scheduled before arriving at the facility. All practice rooms and lesson studios are available for up to 60-minute blocks.
All practice room doors must remain closed with fans on at all times.
If you use Department of Music facilities, please be sure to complete your daily screening before you arrive at the facility
If you pass the official screening, but you still think something isn’t quite right, please stay home.
