Friends of Music
The Friends of Music at Washington University is a society that supports the Department of Music's high standards in performance, musical studies, and research while encouraging Washington University students and faculty in their musical scholarship and creativity.
Through its membership contributions, Friends of Music is dedicated to providing financial assistance for private music lessons for students regardless of academic major, in addition to lending scholarship support for graduate students and music majors.
Members of the Friends of Music receive notices of concerts and lectures sponsored by the Department of Music, as well as invitations to special recitals, receptions, and events hosted by the society.
