Biography:
Amy Kwan, class of 2021, is from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, and is majoring in Biology with a concentration in Computational Biology and Genomics along with a minor in Music. She has played the viola since fourth grade and has continued her musical career into college. Since freshman year, she has played in the Symphony orchestra and served as band director for the Bear Nation Varsity Band, Washu's student-run pep band. She has taken lessons from Amy Greenhalgh since freshman year and participated in a masterclass with Juan-Miguel Hernandez. After graduation, Amy plans on working at a biotechnology start-up company, for her gap year before pursuing MD/Ph.D. programs.
