Program:
MacKenzie Larkin is a senior in a five-year combined bachelor's and master's program, majoring in chemical engineering with minors in energy engineering and music. Her musical journey began at age three with piano, transitioning to violin in third grade before settling on the viola in sixth grade. Throughout her time at WashU, MacKenzie has served as co-principal in the WUSO viola section for all five years, demonstrating both leadership and musical ability. Following graduation, she plans to return to her hometown of Boston to pursue a career as a research engineer at Moderna. MacKenzie extends her deep gratitude to her family, friends, music teachers, the WUSO viola section, and all those who have supported her throughout her challenging yet rewarding five years.
